The other day, the hubby showed me a funny site that shows celebrities, and their look-a-likes. If you need a good laugh, or just want to waste some time, check it out. Here’s a few shots from the site…
It saddened me to sign into my Google reader to see that one of my favorite comedians unexpectedly passed away earlier today. Rest in peace Bernie Mac, and keep those angels laughing.
I’m a bit late in getting these up since it took me a while to get this second blog running on my site, but as I like to say, better late than never! This past 4th of July, my husband and I went to watch the fireworks in Lillington. It rained shortly before the show, so because of that and the fact that everyone there was scared of water, the hubby and I got some pretty damn good seats to watch the display. Here’s some pics I got of the fireworks show. Enjoy!
Alright. I’m not the most outspoken feminist I know. I like to have the door opened for me every now and again, and I enjoy doing the house-wife things from time to time. But this article is just ridiculous!! Are men really feeling that insecure about themselves that they honestly need to have an article posted about the top 10 things that they can do and that women can’t? Crap like this pisses me off..and trust me, there are worse words I could be saying right now if it weren’t for the fact that I don’t want to offend any of me readers.
For a rebuttal on the side for women, check out this article. Amen Jezebel!
Ok, Ok! I know! Three posts in one day?!?! Dayyyuuummm! Well, a friend on mine posted this on her myspace. And being a military wife, it was too good for me to not post it here to spread the word! So here it is.
Thanks to my friend Heather for sharing this in her bulletin post!!! Montell just became one of my new favorite people! I espceially love how the news people kept trying to “shut him up” and “stay on topic.” @$$holes!
This is why I hate the news. They only show you what THEY think you should know rather than telling you about everything.
I feel for Heath Ledger’s family. Trust me, I really do. I was absolutely heart-broken to hear about his untimely death and believe that no one should have to go through losing a family member so unexpectedly and in such a manner…but Montell has a extremely good point with what he’s saying.

Finally…someone said it. My heart goes out to Heath Ledger’s family also, but how many babies have been left behind without daddys, because their daddys have gone off to war? too many to name…its a tragedy yes, that he died so young. But we have many friends who were MUCH younger when they gave their lives for our freedom.

I know we’re already a month into 2008 but my husband shared this with me today and I got such a tickle out of some of it, that I thought I’d share them with all of you!
Ten Thoughts to Ponder for 2008
Number 10
Life is sexually transmitted.
Number 9
Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.
Number 8
Some men have two emotions:
Hungry and Horny. If he’s not in the mood , make him a sandwich ..
Number 7
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day,
teach a person to use the internet
and they won’t bother you for weeks.
Number 6
Some people are like a Slinky ..
Not really good for anything, but you still can’t help but smile
when you shove them down the stairs.
Number 5
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday,
lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Number 4
All of us could take a lesson from the weather.
It pays no attention to Criticism.
Number 3
Why does a slight tax increase cost you $200.00
and a substantial tax cut saves you $30.00?
Number 2
In the 60’s, people took acid to make the world weird.
Now the world is Weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.
And The Number 1 Thought For 2008 :
We know exactly where one cow with Mad-cow-disease is located among millions and millions of cows in America but we haven’t got a clue as to where millions of illegal immigrants and terrorists are located. Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of Immigration?
Quote of the Day
‘Life is like eating a jar of Jalapeno peppers
What you do today, might Burn Your Ass Tomorrow’
